carried out under the Operational Programme Eastern Poland 2014-2020, priority axis I: Entrepreneurial Eastern Poland, Measure 1.2. Internationalisation of SMEs, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
An external consultant (OEG) fully implemented the new MBI, based on consultation with DEVO. The work was carried out via a self-assessment survey, desk research, brainstorming, in-depth interviews. Numerous teleconferences, phone calls and emails were held as part of the work.

carried out under the Operational Programme Eastern Poland 2014-2020, priority axis I: Entrepreneurial Eastern Poland, Measure 1.4. Design for competition - Stage 2, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The implementation of this project consists in the introduction of the key design recommendations for the further development of DEVO company from the design strategy (DS) developed under Stage 1, Measure 1.4. of OP EP. A comprehensive range of recommendations was selected for implementation, as a result of which the company will launch a product innovation on the market and achieve the assumed project objectives. The project will begin in May 2019 with procedures for selecting design service contractors and machinery suppliers.
THE DESIGN, COUNSELLING AND INVESTMENT MEASURES PLANNED FOR IMPLEMENTATION WITHIN THE APPLICATION ARE CONNECTED WITH THE FOLLOWING DESIGN RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. Complementing the skills of the team implementing the new product development process. 2. Building awareness among employees on the use of design. 3. Realising the potential of industrial design designers. 4. Elaborating functional improvements to current and new products - redesigning selected current collections. 5. Expanding the range with new styles. 6. Improving the quality and efficiency of production processes. 7. Adaptation of the machinery to the product range being manufactured. 8. Enhancing the efficiency of design processes, production preparation and communication with customers. 9. Reflecting 'gourmet' values in marketing materials. 10. Developing segmentation and analysis of customer preferences and needs. 11. Strengthening sales channels. 12. Improving the design quality of promotional materials.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE:
The main objective of the project is to increase the DEVO's competitive and market expansion potential through the implementation of the recommendations developed in Stage 1 of Measure 1.4. OP EP of the strategy, including the design and implementation of product and marketing design projects and new production technologies, which will enable DEVO to introduce product innovation to the market. This objective will be achieved through the implementation of specific objectives through the tasks: 1. Purchase of specialist consulting services for the development of new designs and consulting services for the implementation of design in the company's operations as well as for the development of skilled design management, 2. Purchase of new production equipment and software to create a technological line for the introduction of product innovations. The achieved indirect objective of the project will be increasing the potential of an Eastern Poland company by applying design and launching new products on the market.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The services provided by the selected Contractor included: 1. Conducting a design audit of the DEVO company consisting in the analysis of its activity in terms of potential and design needs, which included among others: a) design analysis of the company in terms of product offer, business model, technology, organisational structure, communication processes, marketing strategy, definition and characteristics of customers and competitors and key industry trends in the context of the applicant; b) analysis of the applicant's needs in terms of design management; c) analysis of the offer in terms of the applicant's use of design and market potential. 2. Developing a design strategy through a report on the conducted design audit that includes at least the following elements: a) a general description of the applicant's company including a design analysis of the company in terms of products, technology, organisational structure, customer communication processes, marketing strategy, b) a general description of the applicant's design environment, including at least information on the customer characteristics, a description of the main competitors, c) a description of the market trends, identifying key industry, social and technological trends in the applicant's context with a high potential impact on the applicant's market, d) assessment of the level of utilisation of design in the applicant's company and its potential in this respect, e) defining design problems in the applicant's company (concerning both the product and other business processes in the company), f) the potential for solving design problems within the applicant's company, g) recommendations for further specific actions for the applicant's company.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE:
The main objective of the project was to increase the DEVO's competitiveness and management skills in design management through analysis of the company's design potential and possibilities by: 1. Conducting a design audit in key areas of the company's activity related to the currently offered product range, 2. Developing a design strategy through a design audit report. The achievement of specific objectives at the operational level was associated with the purchase for DEVO of the consultancy services planned in this project. The process of defining recommendations for design measures resulting from the conducted audit will involve the designated representatives of DEVO, which will affect the achievement of the main project objective and, consequently, the increase in human resources potential of Eastern Poland companies operating in the field of design management.
