WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text pieces of information stored on your computer. They are sent by a web server, for example after visiting a page. They are most often used to facilitate and automate the operation of the site. The content of cookies does not allow to identify the user. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, time of storage on the hard drive and a unique number.
Cookies are used to store small user data, which allows automatic logging in, remembering the contents of the shopping cart in the online store or preferences for the appearance, layout and language of the site. Sometimes they are an element of visit counters, surveys and anonymous statistics in order to check whether a user from a given computer has already been counted by a counter or voted in a poll.
To block cookies or prevent only certain features, change the settings of your web browser.
Click on the menu (in the upper right corner), tab Settings ” Show advanced settings. In the Privacy section, you need to click on the Content settings button.
Through the browser menu, select Tools ” Options ” Privacy. Then activate the box Firefox: will use your settings.
Tools ” Internet Options ” Privacy. Use the slider to set the privacy level.
